This is the newest of the books in the radcases series. Like the others it offers case images followed by a summary of the differential and a review of the actual diagnosis. The photos are decent, larger than the case review series and better quality, but still not quite where they should be. I have some problem with the differentials they provide, because often one of the choices says something like "this option actually never looks like the images shown here". In which cases, one would think that it definitely should not be part of the differential in the first place.The online cases are a big plus. I do wish the access lasted longer.
I like the radcases series, they seem to have more relevant cases than some other review series. There are a lot of typos in the book but they don't seem to distract from the learning too much. They explain the imaging findings after each case and give nice pertinent info. I would recommend these books.
Great cases to prep for IR boards!
Excellent case based format. Concise information. Well organized and relevant material.
Nice noon conference style cases. More advanced than Mosby's review by Gould et al. Recommended as a review, not primary read of VIR.
many great images and great differential. Do not expect explanation on treatment or interventional process. More helpful to me than case review series.
