Lots of info regarding surrounding area. Great photos. Good souvenir even long after the visit.r
A beautiful book and the photography is stunning. If I were to have bought this book for the photography alone, I would have been more than satisfied, but I didn't. I bought this book for information on an upcoming trip to sub saharan Africa, with Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side as part of the trip agenda.While there are some interesting tidbits of info on all of the surrounding areas, it lacks the depth needed for well informed travel. Hotels, eating, culture, comprehensive maps, car rentals, guides, dangers, brushed upon at best, or not even mentioned.Pretty to look at....but that's about it.
And I loved the actual falls even more. This was a great prelude to the real thing and I kept it as a memory of how magnificent the falls are.
