THIS was an exciting book from start to finish. I read it in one day. There were many characters in this story. Some were out to help Eden and CLAY others were not. Both had hard growing up years and that was hard on the marriage. Instead of running to him for comfort and help Eden ran away from Clay after Brianna kidnapping Clay did the same thing running back to his work. Eden chose to move onto somewhere else to start over even giving Clay divorce papers. Thinking she was divorced she met someone and she was going to marry him. That was until Clay showed up with his news of their daughter and that she was still married to him. Now people started showing up from both of their pasts. The first ones were old buddies of Clays they chose to help him. The next ones were Eden long lost parents who she hoped to forget. Last of all the kidnapper showed one who had gone to school with Clay and was Eden half sister. She was out to get them. It all ended well for Eden, Clay, Brianna and the girls they all came together as a family. Colleen Coble does a great job with her books I had 2 of her other Lonestar Series books. I like how she cares the characters from each one of the books into the next one. Keep up the good work.
This is the 4th book in the series. The first three books in the series are Lonestar Sanctuary, Lonestar Secrets and Lonestar Homecoming.Eden's daughter was taken and killed when she was only six weeks old. Eden ran away from her husband and tried to put her life back together. Now that she's about to receive a proposal of marriage, her ex-husband shows up and tells her they're still married. Not only that, but there's hope that their daughter is still alive. Dropping everything, she chases the possibility.Clay never wanted Eden to leave. He's received a photograph showing where his daughter might be, but he needs Eden's help. The ranch where she's supposedly at has a job opening, but it's for a couple. He's hoping for a happy ending where he finds their daughter and they're able to put their relationship back together.There's more than meets the eye. Four of the girls could be their daughter and they need to find a way to find the truth. In the meantime, someone is threatening Eden and making attempts on her life. She still loves Clay, but she's afraid to try again with Clay.I loved this book. It's been a while since I've read a really good romantic suspense and Coble is always a safe bet. Her characters are believable and the personalities she portrayed for some of the children were cute. Looking back, all the main characters from the other books show up. You can read them out of order and not miss much.I was SO glad to finally finish this series. While looking up the names of the previous books, I found out that there is going to be a Christmas novella associated with this series. It comes out in November 2014 and is called All Is Calm.
I really enjoyed this book. I liked the romance and the suspense. This book kept me guessing as who was the bad guy. I figured it out toward the end. I would recommend it since it is a Christian read and I didn’t have to put up with profanity. Clay was an amazing person and so strong throughout the entire book.
Lone star Angel just kept you guessing throughout the book! It was very well written! Just really a great book!
I haven't read a Colleen Coble book that I haven't loved. This is no exception. She is a Christian writer but there is romance and mystery that makes you just want to keep reading and get to the end to see how it ends.
This is a very good book. The story line is heartwrenching. There is a great romance going on throughout, and so much more...a lot of suspense and mystery punctuate the novel. One unique thing about Colleen Coble's writing is that she doesn't use any profanity, and also, she adds spirituality. I love her books. They are so well written.
This book I believe was the best of the series. All were very good but this topped them all. Colleen Coble is my favorite author and she was out of the park on this book. This book shows that God is with us at all times, even when we don't see Him working.Eden and Clay had many twists and turns in their lives but in the end a miracle was performed. God does fight for us and this book shows that. A must read!
Lonestar Angel was another compliment to the Lonestar series. You won't go wrong reading books by Colleen Coble. Nice read with enough twists and turns to keep your interest and good moral/Christian message.
